Our Group
The Pastel Project is a grassroots advocacy & campaigning group working on behalf of the Trans & Non-Binary community in the UK. Based in Nottingham we are a trans led, wholly volunteer organisation working tirelessly to advance inclusion & acceptance through our campaigns, out-reach, promotions & research
Our Goals
We believe that Trans and Non-binary people should have the same access, respect, safety & recognition to live their lives as Cisgender people take for granted every day. It is our mission to see anti-trans rhetoric resigned to history & to ensure a bright future for the trans community where people can live their lives to the fullest free from discrimination & exclusion.

Meet Our Team
Our team is made up of passionate individuals who bring their own lived experiences, skills, and creativity into the Nottingham Pastel Project. Each of us is part of the community we serve, and together we are working to make Nottingham a safer and more inclusive place for trans and non-binary people.
Volunteering🙋🏼♀️
We are always looking for passionate people to bring their skills, time, and energy into our work. There are many ways to get involved: helping us run safe space events, supporting our campaigns, contributing creative skills like design or photography, or simply lending a hand with day-to-day organising. Whatever your background, there’s a place for you here.
